A jewelry charm I found on my walk today. I had been reading a library book about Martha Cooper, who photographed Hip Hop in New York in the day, and then I went to McDonald's and this caught my eye. I thought Martha's rapport with the people in her photographs was really evident. Not that she was boss lady lol, they all describe her as really friendly and you can see it in their faces that they liked her. Anyway, it's that kind of painting. McDonald's still has their Valentine's decorations up! I was turning in my Martha Cooper book to the library and saw this in the deposit box...
I saw this "Thrive" sign on the way home from the dentist and I got a good report there too. A nice view at the grocery store. A neighbor's tree in bloom. I think my mom calls these trees "Japanese Tulip Trees".
My friend is 50 on the 12th of this month and I have been looking for a present at TJ Maxx. I think March will be more forthcoming, but this caught my eye. I went to B&N again today, this time to see what was there about arthritis. The Dr said my x-rays from Monday showed arthritis in my hip. Trying not to get upset lol. I have had pain in my joints my whole life and except that I threw my hip out, I have no other complaints right now. Reiki was the most interesting treatment listed in Arthritis for Dummies, which was the only available book on the subject... My favorite Georgia O'Keefe painting. The book was on sale and it was a nice book too. A profusion of winter blossoms at McDonald's. I don't know what they are, but they resemble dogwoods.
